Women & Youth play a key role in State building and Reconciliation support
DRDO believes that in our society, Women are an integral part of communities and they are the foundation of society, therefore investing in them to accelerate progress is vital, women play an important role from birth till death. Horn Academy strongly believes empowering women in Somalia: fueling economic prosperity.
The Galkayo Women’s Association, representing women from both Puntland and Galmudug, played a significant role in key negotiation and reconciliation processes following the inter-clan conflicts that emerged in Galkayo and Galdogob in early 2025.
